It’s not a “shame” that x box barely has a presence here in Japan. I don’t see how it was a shame that none of the games came west. There’s just so many games for it & such a wide variety. Saturn is the undisputed king amongst Sega consoles. MegaCD has over 280 titles & Game Gear has like 350 titles Even the MegaCD & Game Gear are better than anything Nintendo put out post-SNES. I dunno, they did a brilliant job overall.

I know you can get them on Steam now but I'd love to play through them on my Saturn. One I really hope to see is the Dungeons and Dragons beat em up games. I know Lunar is getting one (even the MPEG version!) and Shining Force scenario 1-3 have a mostly complete translation already done (although not final I don't think). Hopefully this helps bring in a whole new wave of Translation for Saturn. What's nice is each game that's done and the information shared publicly helps (potentially) future translation projects. I'm super glad they translated the Saturn version into English. The Saturn port is the definitive edition, for sure. Only place I think it wins is the transparencies in some places look better.
Playstation has a bunch of texture warping on the ground and the ground textures are just.wrong? It's also missing a ton of shadows, the sprites are limited, water is different, etc. First off the game was made originally for the Saturn and ported to the Playstation.
